Anyone else? Ever since update I can't access system map of another system through the galaxy map. Says "retrieving data for [insert system name]" but the task never actually completes. Just goes round and round forever. Have to keep Alt tabbing out of the game and kill the game through task manager.

Me too. Don't try while your flying or you might be suddenly surprised. I also got a lot of "Data Corrupt, Start Again" notes never seen before. It made exploration impossible.
I found that by pressing "Esc" you get the pause menu, "resume" takes you back to your cockpit.
I've only had this problem while trying to access the system map from the Powerplay view. Switching to Map view and then selecting system map seems to fix it for me. If you're stuck on the map loading screen, do like MalcYorks says and hit the Esc button.

Anyone else have this endless loop trying to access the system map? trying to find out where the to drop off this intel for the faction leader wad... where do i bring this crap, i went into the controlled system to the nearest station and nothing, looked on the galaxy map nothing, tryed to access the system map... freezes everytime?
