Trouble getting the top 15% in the Persephone Community Goal

They shoulda picked a more expensive cargo. This event makes piracy a waste of time.

I'm in the same boat (3,277 tonnes), I'm guessing 5k. At least, I hope so...
Well at least I'll still be making quite a bit even if I don't get into the 15%. Probably won't have the time if it turns out to be that high. (Only have room for 216 cargo)
This estimate has worked for almost any community goal at least for me:
500: 100%
2000: 70%
4000: 40%
8000: 15%
12000: 5%
Actually this could be calculated very reliably using a normal distribution function. Based on the total amount delivered and based on the number of participants you get the average number per player. Maybe we have some mathmatician here to enlighten us.
Yeah, when you have to do 2/3 trips to make up for every 1 trip a Conda/T9 does then you're not going to have a good time. Get a Python asap as they are the halfway house and can do trading pretty good without costing quite as much as the biggest ships.
I need at least 20 million more to have a maxed out Python cargowise + still have a decent cushion. Shouldn't be too long.
And they can make for shorter round trips by grabbing up the outposts closer to the CG system that big ships have to skip. I went to a high tech system 2 jumps from Persephone that had a starport and 2 outposts. No other ships at the system and I could see why when I docked at the starport. 12 basic meds left in stock. I snatched them up and went over to the outpost 10Ls away and they still had over 4000. 5 jump round trip (2 there unladen because Persephone sells nothing, 3 back with 276 tons) and I bet I can make more runs than a T9 could to counteract the loss in cargo space.
Yeah, Im in a Anaconda doing a 1 jump empty, 2 jumps laden trip. 452T every 15 minutes if I can stay sane long enough to do it.
Was in top 5% with 10,000T earlier, just boosting to 15,000T so I can park the Conda and get the Python out for the 2 new bounty hunt CG's that have just started.
