True multi-screen ala flight sims

Any idea if "true" multiscreen support will ever be implemented? As in FSX or various other flight sims? Im not talking about an Eyefinity setup, I mean the ability to put cockpit elements on separate screens (*hint* the side panels *hint*).

I came across this video on youtube:

and had a nerdgasm thinking how it would be 10 shades of awesome to have my side screens in Elite on two real screens on either side of me. Just my 2 cents. Thanks!!!

Agree. Would be great if ED could handle multiple viewports as well as FSX does with the ability to simply drag them to other screens. Could have dedicated panel windows then on secondary monitors.

The only reason I like this more than a vr display is because in vr you can't see another screen with Netflix or something on it.

But when the release version of oculus comes out, it will hopefully fix the issues with dk2 and be incredible.

True, but being a poor college student (working on my... third career at last count :D) I can afford the ~USD$100 or so for the Cougar MFD and a couple of LCD displays. I just don't have the disposable income I once did before I was laid off, and ~USD$400 for a VR display is a bit out of my price range.
