Trying to build an Animal Kingdom Dinosaur type-ride

Hi, everyone! It's been a long time. How have you been? I've been really busy failing my classes preparing for college.
In case that previous line didn't tip you off, I'm trying to create a Portal-themed ride in my park that would have the riders be potential investors taking a tour of Aperture Science before accidentally entering a testing track. I wanted it to be like an EMV (like Dinosaur in Animal Kingdom), but I don't think Planet Coaster has an option like that yet. Anyone have any ideas of what I could use to make something similar?

Hmm.. (researches the real ride and EMV)... Nope, PC has nothing like that at present or even coming next month.

If you want the ride to speed up and slow down, even stop and restart, then your only option is some kind of coaster because the track rides all go at constant speed and can't stop. The easiest coaster to use is the Typhoon, which can have use both chain lifts and launchers. In fact, you probably require a launcher for the run back through the portal to the station. However, the Typhoon doesn't allow kids so no families could ride it.
