General / Off-Topic trying to learn the keyboard(piano)...any tips?

Amateur guitarist (self taught years ago mainly by learning Metallica's 1st 4 albums), can't read music and don't want to. Is there an equivalent to tablature for keyboards, and sites similar to songsterr for keyboards. Currently learning Are Friends Electric and Cars (Gary Numan) at the mo with a keyboard (Casio CTK-491) my mother in law gave me in December. Worked a lot out myself (and from what I could work out on guitar) and from a couple of YT vids, got some basic notation (just the notes written down) but wondering how to indicate what octave I'm in (although slowly building up muscle memory which is helping). This is nothing serious, just a little faffing around but any advice will be appreciated. :)

There definitely is such thing as piano tabulatures and there's a wikihow on how to read them, including octaves.

Pretty sure a google search will find you some more but 911 tabs has some for piano;

Dayum I did a search but found nothing of relevance (god I'm crap at selecting search terms), many thanks....hehe I used to use 911tabs back in the day before Songsterr, didn't think of going back!

If you don't want to learn to read music, there are programs like flowkey that visualize notation.

struggling with the parts that need hand co-ordination...I have none, so a bit of a problem! Going to look up tutorials on that....also going to learn Down in the Park and Moonlight Sonata next....oh and the left hand part of Axel F (not that I'll be able to play both parts at the same time tho!

Use your fingers, I tried using my face, I don't recommend.

LOL, good advice, never thought of that...what about using me johnson as a third option? ;)
