TS3 Overlay for E: D

Ahoy lads,
has anyone got a working Teamspeak-Overlay for Elite dangerous (fullscreen mode)?
I used to have a ts app working with overwolf, but since the Horizons Beta it no longer works,
i only want to see who is speaking (CHANNEL).

Cheers!

Struggling with a similar problem... did you or anyone else have any advice or suggestion?

Neither overwolf or TS own overlay seem to be working for me...

thanks !

Try putting E: D in borderless mode. Looks exactly the same as fullscreen mode, but it alt-tabs a bit different and can sometimes help with getting third party programs to work in conjuction with the game.

I use a workaround now:

Switch game to borderless mode (no recording with shadowplay here!!!!)
have the Overwolf app open
lock the window in the foreground with an "always on top"-app

The TS3 integrated app doesn't work for me and is very old software with rather too many options,
where i can use the simple overwolf plugin.

What i wonder though is,
that the record button overlay of "shadowplay" is displayed in fullscreen mode...

Okai, retested it with 2.0.0.3.
Working now. No crashing.

The reason I use this instead of Overwolf is the bloated 'feel' OW has. This one feels a bit less bloated.
And it's a plugin only, not a full application.

The options are pretty straight forward compared to the old version I've tested.
I mostly adjust screen position & font size.

Shadowplay only works with fullscreen of course, unless you enable the 'record desktop' option while in borderless mode.
But the desktop recording have caused too many issues for me though.

I got the overwolf working again by editing the xml file with notepad by copying the edx32 script line and adding another line under it in the same brackets changing the x32 to x64 and it works.

Works totally!!!!!
I had to go to users/"current user"/appdata/overwolf edit the gamedata.xml
and search for <GameTitle>E it will then show Elite: Dangerous and the trick to get it working with 64-bit is just to change the
entry "EliteDangerous32.exe" to "EliteDangerous64.exe".

I also altered the misspelling of the brackets featuring "luancher" to the correct "launcher".

Cheers mate for the info!!! +REP
