turn off paint decay

i would quite happily pay for an in-store paint pack where my paint didnt start flaking off after 1kly.

i like cosmetics to make my ship look pretty not some flaky scabby 70s matchbox car thats been thrown around on the concrete floor.

1 day into DW2 and my ships is already a diseased rat i cant bear to look at

This idea, even if meant in jest, or extra long living paints would allow for the most choice in this regard I think. absolutely no decay would be strange. A new group could form waiting at these spots to repair ship paints, called the cuttlefish or something?

I'll agree with this post. One trip to Hutton and you look like you've been to Beagle Point and back...twice.
A little slower on the decay would be nice.
