Turn Off Pre-Flight Checks

Hi Guys

Is there a way to turn-off the pre-flight check list prior to departure, or is this a 'fixed feature' of the game?

Thanks

Yes there is. When in the cockpit, go into your right hand side menu, it's under options (or whatever word they use to describe options) about half way down. :)

Sorry to bring this up from the dead but I'm having my preflight checks being on whenever I restart the game....and I am making sure they say off before I exit....

There's a file in your Frontier Developments folder where this settings are stored. Sam file that stores things like "report crimes against me" and "navigation lines". Can't remember the exact name/location, but a forum search will help. Once you locate it, simply delete it and the game with auto-recreate it upon launch. Set your preferred settings again, and they should stick - until the next time. I've had to do this a couple of times in a year.

Thank you both I will try and see if it fixes it when I next play as it's annoying when needing to move with the Unknown Arterfact.

A pre-flight check that can be useful is the throttle. I'd have saved myself a moment's panic earlier if that had been enabled.

I've found the solution!
It's really simple!
C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Local\Frontier Developments\Elite Dangerous\Options\Player
folder. There is some files with this settings of visibility.
Just deleted the whole folder for sure, game remade this on start, options by default. Clicking\changing all this settings, restarted ED - voila, it's saved! Tried 3 times.

EDIT:
If you take a look at this folder, you'll find a file .misc. There is ALL the Galaxy Map settings, including Functions menu(that is on the right in the ship).
The problem was really the file Custom.misc, that's not recreated after folder deletion. There was the same settings from 1.2.07 that overriding new .misc settings.

Thanks a bunch...this helped for me...my orbital lines wouldnot shut off, had to manully do it on every log in.
