Turn off vibration

So I got to the point where I can't handle the vibration any more. I just want it gone. Completely.

I tried searching for how to achieve this but there is next to no information other than people saying "go into the menus"

So which menu is this option under? because I can't find it for the life of me :/

It was never implemented properly in this game so I have had mine shut off since day one. And I was one of those players who was really looking forward to the addition of rumble.

I can't remember exactly but you'll find it in option menu, the one where you'll see yaw roll deadzone settings. But i think it's hidden, you must scroll to the end

Edit: too late.

I wish they had a vibration level, hyperspace in and out are pretty annoying at default vibration

I have that kind of control with my XB1 Elite Controller, but unfortunately, it doesn't really improve the experience very much. As I said, for whatever reason, FD did a very minimal level of coding for rumble in the game, so it lacks the impact of the feature when developers take the time required to map the rumble properly to all the various ship actions and in-game scenarios.

If you've got the elite controller, you have access to more options in the "Xbox accessories" app. One of these is vibration intensity, which I have turned down just far enough so that the hyperspace launch/drop doesn't make the triggers buzz (I'm sure you are familiar with what I'm referring to). Then you can just switch control profiles (either in app or with the switch on the front of the controller) when you go play division, cod, fallout, etc.

I wish we could adjust the intensity on all of the controllers. It's like a jackhammer in this game whenever you jump.

I know this is the XBO forum. I use an XBOne controller on my PC and the rumble track is great. My favorite track is when your ship is unlocked from a station. You really do get the sensation of clamps coming off.

I wonder if the "Rumble Map" is different on the PC version as compared to the XB1 version?

As I mentioned in my previous post... The Rumble feature in ED for XB1 feels like a total "Rushed Job" to me. Odd things happening like Rumble activating when opening menus at a station and corny junk like that. And as for the actual Rumble in-game...

Just very sloppy implementation that lacks the finesse a game like ED really deserved to have with a tactile feedback system.

I'm sorry I was making a very bad joke.
There is no rumble track for the PC version of ED:H
I guess the dev's though everyone on PC would either play with K&M or buy one of those 300buck hosta.

I did wonder when I saw your post, I sporadically play both versions and was thinking "i'm pretty sure my controller doesn't rumble when playing on the PC build".:S

I did find it odd the first time I fired up the PC version and played using the xbone controller and noticed the lack of rumble implementation, considering it had been added into the Xbox version.

Grass isn't always greener on the other side! Though given the lack of adjustment on the xbox in game rumble and how severe it is compared to other games, I'm sure plenty of Xbox players just turn it off...(myself, I've left it on and gotten used to it).

Pretty sure the rumble when in station is because of nearby Pad activity, it's not related to opening of menus etc. Personally, I think it's quite immersive in that respect, you are docked in an active station and can feel the other pads in the area moving.

Do still agree, a slider to adjust the vibration level would be nice, rather than just on/off.
