Turning left today with a saitek x55 rhino fix?

My game and hotas have worked for 2 years now, all of a sudden today I started rotating left , are there any fixes to the issue ? I have tried updating saitek drivers, adding dead space to ED control option and to no avail. I played today for an hour and then all of a sudden boom. loose wire? bad contacts?

Thank you in advance

If it's anything like the X52, it should have a control panel ( mine is a throttle icon in the system tray ), you will be able to see there if your joystick is leaning to the left.

I promise I did not mean it the way it sounds.

If it is rolling left did you knock your mouse switching between screens or an open browser... happens to me a lot with an X52-Pro

I suppose you did unplug/plug it in and still didnt work. If you didnt try to do it a few times to recalibrate it.

That means the potentiometers inside are not accurate anymore. They need to be changed or cleaned (i dont recommend doing it unless you know what you are doing, and btw you wont find some to buy because they are probably 40 and 32 degree arc ones). If you cant RMA it cleaning is the only solution, and its easier if its only the yaw because its inside the stick and you can take it off. I cleaned my pots and works like new.

I had this exact same thing happen to my X-55. Is the motion as if you have twisted the stick, or leaned it over? For me, it was twisting.
I pulled the screws out that held the stick together and was able to squirt some electrical contact cleaner into the potentiometer. After reassembling it, I gave it a few twists both ways and plugged it back in. It has now worked perfectly for over 6 months.

It only requires a single screwdriver and some contact cleaner. Took 5 mins max. Worth trying.
