Turning off life support bug(?)

When he turns off life support, emergency life support is immediately enabled. Shouldn't there be a considerable amount of oxygen left in the cabin even after turning off life support?

My guess is, "Life Support" is more than just "breathable air". It should include heating/cooling, pressure etc... everything a human body not in a spacesuit needs to be "alive".

So turning off life support might have also turned off cabin pressure, and the emergency systems kick in to try to maintain that pressure.

Again, just a guess on my part
