Horizons Turret Mode on SRV

Err I got myself stuck in turret mode on my SRV and cannot find the control to move back down to my SRV. Does anyone know which command it is in the control options?

I'm not at home so I can't be sure, but I believe that it is a toggle. So the same button should get you back out.

there is a key binding that get you back into the cockpit. Look at the key binds in options menu.

It's there in the driving controls. It's obvious when you see it. 'Turret cam' or something like that.

This is correct. Consider it as the same as deploying hardpoints in the ship.

Hi commanders, I have a question about the activation of the turret mode. I am on a planet in the SRV and I cannot activate the turret mode. The SRV menu for selection is in white text and the bindings don't work. Any ideas how to resolve this?

Are you too close to your ship?
Move further away because the turret automatically stows when you approach your ship.
