Engineers Turreted long range force cannons

Considering trying these out for trade ships, but I heard they again implemented some nonsense diminishing return crap on the force effect.

Is it true that if two cannons with force hit at the same time, it only delivers the force of one cannon?

Also, if I make the turrets long range modded, will it extend the range at which turrets continue firing? I'm wondering if they will just stop firing at 2k like they would unmodified.
 
Force shell doesnt stack.. got an FDL with 4. It aint as much fun as the beta then.. :(

Dont know about turrets.. never used em, never will..

Yes, turrets know the range of your weapon. I have some long range beams for sniping police kills in HiRez
