Ships Turreted weapons coverage.

While not a proper answer to the question you asked, my suggestion in the absence of diagrams is to observe each hardpoint physically and record whether it deploys upward, sideways, or downward. This very matter is something I have noticed that few Commanders consider over simply having their hardpoints located more closely together. As an example, I maintain that the Fer-de-Lance is a terrible choice for Gimbal weapons (which many Commanders continue to equip onto it) because its hardpoints deploy in all four directions and therefore have little more overlap than if the weapons were Fixed.

Alongside watching the hardpoints, you may find the following diagrams useful insofar as they show where they are located physically on the starship:

At the very least, thank you for thinking clearly about what aspects of hardpoints are relevant for the different weapon mounts!
