Tutorial and Campaign

I am so happy that a proper tutorial and campaign has been confirmed for the planet zoo. It was something that i believe planet coaster was lacking. I hope that we will get many interesting stories (saving bankrupt zoos, building themed zoos etc). But what I wish for is that there will be a real unlockable objects or themes for completing missions and challenges. Something that we would have to really work for. That was always my most favorite part of the old zoo tycoon games. What are your guys ideas?
 
In another Thread I had a Idea how it could work to get some rare Animals
Maybe the Hoatzin could be obtained because some People tried to smuggle them in the Country but the Smugglers were imprisoned and the Animals will be given to the Zoo if it's possible for the Player to build a good Exhibit for them. But it seems to be very difficult to keep them in Captivity, so I think it would be very unlikely that we would have the Hoatzin in Planet Zoo
 
Oh please God, no! I hope it won't be like in JWE. It was the most frustrating part of of the game: being forced to play that boring and annoying campaign just to unlock everything for the sandbox mode. It was just a chore!
Please leave the sandbox and the campaign separate.

I don't know how it was in ZT2 but in ZT1 you didn't have to complete missions and challanges. Everything could be unlocked in the "free game" mode, either trough a certain amount of time that passed or by researching it. But you didn't relly had to work that much for it.
Still, that would be a game mechanic that I would appreciate more.
 
I really hope that there won’t be just those 2 modes. Campaign and sandbox... What about people that do not like to play missions, like to just build their own zoo, but also dislike having unlimited resources and everything unlocked. I really hope there will be somehing like in ZT2 I think it was named challenge mode or somehing like that.
It was similar to sandbox, but had limited resources and we had to unlock everything via zoo star system, there were also small challenges, like: here is a rhino, if you can make it happy for 3 months, we will grant you some cash and you can keep the rhino, etc. but not really a long term goal.

I loved that mode! I hate when the game just grants me everything for free, so no sandbox for me. :(

Nooo definately not like JWE. Indeed Sandbox should be separate, i ment more unlockable decorative objects or bonus themes etc. So that everyone can enjoy their style of playing.
