Fuel Rats are jump range addicts. The farther we reach with each jump, the more likely it is that we get assigned to rescues.
In this video tutorial, both basics and more advanced ship loadout stuff for a higher jump range is discussed.
The tips are still valid with the 3.0 update. Just remember that with 3.0, you will automatically get a super-long range G5 FSD when rolling your Grade 5, especially if you add the "Mass Manager" effect. Also, most modules can be made lighter now by applying "Stripped Down".
