So I have recently found both of these Shows and enjoying them both.... especially in conjunction with Finding and playing Elite Dangerous.

What do others think of these two shows

and

What Sci-Fi shows do you enjoy with elite Dangerous in mind.

Ahh, Well even though both shows have ships with multiple crew, rather than jsut one in Elite Dangerous...

Dark matter is Like smuggling and more ship to ship combat.... and their FTL drive makes me think of jumps in ED.

Expanse on the other hand makes me think of running trade and Mining in ED.

Tried to get into Dark Matter, but just couldn't. Love the ship design, but the story bores me to tears.
Havent tried Expanse yet.

Haven't tried Dark Matter yet but I really enjoyed The Expanse, the last 3 or 4 episodes in particular were fantastic.

Dark Matter is a show I watch when I don't have anything else I feel like doing.
And it is not awful; somewhat boring story.
The Expanse is really great!
Only really bad thing about The Expanse; I have to wait a year for it to continue.

And related to Elite, I has given me some insight into how it all started; when it comes to Elite Lore.
I immediately incorporated it mentally, into my personal Elite fiction.
I always want to fly after watching.

Try out Dark Matter first; it will suck even more, if you see it after The Expanse.

Killjoys started out ok, but became dull rather quickly. Dark Matter started badly (e.g. first episode had two completely unnecessary melee fights plotwise), but got ok by the end of the first season.

The Expanse blows them both out of the water.

The show that actually reminds me of Elite is Black Sails. Living in a harsh environment, encounters with strange ships that might lead to violence, occasional piracy, dropping cargo to distract pirates. A couple of episodes ago they actually jettisoned slaves; I had to smile.

Killjoys is utter crap. 80's action movies are less cheesy. Dark matter and The Expanse are top notch. Killjoys how did that get past the pilot?
