"Twilight Zone" hostile NPCs tamed in Version 1.2 (Beta 3)!

Hi folks.

In Beta test, I've grabbed a Type 6, fitted it out for exploration, and have set off outside the populated region of space.


I've just jumped 250 LY from the last station, and I haven't seen a single NPC. No impossible Eagles lurking, no shieldless troll sidewinders interdicting me, and - Glory Be - no pop-up pirates hiding in gas giant rings right where I happen to drop out.

I've been able to fuel scoop, scan systems and generally go about my business out here, billions of whatevers from whereever, without being smacked in the face with a mis-firing SHIP SPAWN 4 U mechanic.

The middle of nowhere now feels like the middle of nowhere.

Was recording the trip. Long boring video of no interdictions available on request. zzzzz :)
 
You should start getting Targoid interdictions when going far away, otherwise it breaks the immersion.
 
So no hungry hippos either? Glad there is no Monopoly on spawning in this wild Game of Life. Exploring no longer a Tin Can Alley but the Trivial Pursuit hungered for by those in need of cartographic Perfection. Right on CMDR an watch out for the Mousetrap of binary stars......
