You're in an Orca?

I think it's because the Orca got a fuel tank upgrade with 2.2.

But the upgrade isn't auto applied to your ship, you have to rebuy it, it's a special case that's been coded in I think.

So I think one price is for the upgrade into your core from class 4 to 5, another for a new tank into your optional area so that you would have two tanks.

Either way you should definetely buy the class 5 tank, it should appear in your core slot which you wouldn't normally be able to change.

Get that cheap one bought, Orca upgrade time.

It's a bug. Many modules do this (and you get an error if you pick the "wrong" one...).

Yeah, I had a maxed out Orca and was looking for passenger cabins. I was surprised to see also the fuel tank no longer at max available, so I bought the cheap one. Saves me some fuel scooping that I had to do even on relatively short trips.
[It made me suspect they changed the Orca specs and this is probably a one time glitch.]
