Two by two: a second ichthyosaur?

We have two plesiosaurs (Plesiosaurus and Elasmosaurus), two pliosaurs (Attenborosaurus and Liopleurodon), and two mosasaurs (Mosasaurus and Tylosaurus(?)). Following this pattern, do you think it's likely we'll get a second ichthyosaur to round out the aquatic reptiles? And which one would you like to see? Personally I'm down for this big lad to appear.

That's what it's classified as.

I know what a Attenborosaurus is classified as... perhaps I should put it differently; it clearly recycles the Plesiosaurus... and the base game already has two plesiosaur rigs, even if the second likely uses a modified version. Furthermore, it's still paid extra DLC.

I would figure the point is getting multiple uses out of a rig--even a modified one--into the base game.

In any case, it's still paid extra DLC.
Attenboro may use the Plesio's rig, but that doesn't mean it will be an exact movement and behavior clone, plus visually they're very different and Attenboro is larger than Plesio by 1.5m.

And why does it being DLC matter? It's still one of the game's seven aquatics. And not all pliosaurs looked exactly like Kronosaurus and Liopleurodon.

7 marine species is already above expected for launch, so I really don't think there'll be anything more on that side of things.

Assuming another Ichthyosaur, Ophthalmosaurus seems fairly likely (similar, only double size so most anims should still look about right), they have made it very clear in both games that they have watched Walking with Dinosaurs. I think I'd like a Platypterygius, but it's pretty close to Ophthalmosaurus really.

aquatic reptiles i would like to see ingame are: archeleon, shastasaurus, dakosaurus, plotosaurus and plesiosuchus.
Fish i would like to see ingame (but probably wont): dunkleosteus, leedsichthys, titanichthys and xiphactinus.
Prehistoric whales i would like to see (but also probably wont see them): basilosaurus, livyatan, and titanocetus.

So far aquatics are restricted to marine reptiles, with no plans so far for fish and marine mammals.

In my opinion it's not likely going to happen especially since the novels nor the films have ever included fish or mammals, now synapsis like Lystrosaurus and Dimetrodon are more likely to appear than Dunkleosteus or Livyatan.

A bit of an affiliation for the large stuff I see. Indeed, fish and whales are impossible for launch, and unlikely for post launch. Obodenocetops (the Walrus whale), maybe Mammalodon and Waharoa/Eomysticetidae might be whales I'd be interested in.
