Two free VA VoicePacks (male voice)

Hi,

I created two VoicePacks for Voice Attack with male voices.
They consist of 97 recorded replies and an optional VA Profile with 91 commands.

Not as sophisticated as Astra or Midnight of course, but they are free to download.

Pack No. 1 is called "Jeeves".
It's supposed to resemble a butler.

See a short demo here to check out if you like the voice:

Pack No. 2 is called "Thorn".
It's a darker voice, a bit brooding.

Hope you like it.

Good one :D

I found that I had to run the speech recognition training multiple times before VA worked properly for me. It says somewhere that 3 times is recommended, but it was more like 6-7 times for me.
I'm told there is also a problem with XP Home editions being unable to change the localisation or something - can't confirm that as I run on XP Pro.

Generally VA seems to work better if the command is not just a word but a phrase. Eg. "gears" won't work reliably, but "lower landing gear" will.

Awesome work buddy! I now pretty much have a unique voice set for all my main ships. Thorn sounds perfect for my T9 :)

@CPY, as Kwalish say's, it's better to program VA like you are talking to a human - Instead of 'Scan' say 'Scan the area please' or 'Scan the system Astra'

Here's a link to one of my older profiles - A few thousand commands and functions, no sounds included, but will give you an idea of how to program VA

Glad you like it.
Wouldn't have imagined to use Thorn for something massive like a T9, I thought of him to be some sort of battle companion. On the other hand he speaks rather slow, so probably a good choice. :)

Great stuff OP, i use Astra & Dark and have the profile switching going on, but if i ever decide to keep a few ships, then i would use these as well.
It looks like you enjoy doing the voices, i hope some one eventually decides to change the Anna profile for Star Citizen as that is a great profile and quite big, but uses the computer voice only, and Ivona voices are expensive. I don't play SC just now, but will be doing eventually. (as well as Elite)

Has anyone found a way to save the speech training files, i have windows 10 now, and just had to reinstall again, losing all my training. Was wondering if saving this folder might work.
C:\Users\<Username>\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Speech

Great community we got here.

Folks like OP sharing free voice packs is incredible. I use the KICS pack from another incredibly nice altruist. but you're awesome Cmmdr. really awesome that you guys do this.

I've been having problems with the voice recognition too. I thought that it might be my Scottish accent, similar to the one in the lift video. But yesterday I was working on the problem and noticed that the input signal from my headset hardly registered on a VU meter I downloaded. I've ordered a sound card as I was using the onboard one. OS is Win 64 64bit.
