Two missing exploration informative tools

I don't know if I'm alone in this but I would really find it useful if we could get two more tools for exploration:

1. Just as with bounties (how much and in which systems you can get money), it would be good to be able to check which discoveries one has stored to be sold and how far one is from that specific information. Because right now there is no direct way of knowing how far you're going to end up from an already scanned system, when traveling to another one. I mean, if you have information from system A, but are currently in system B that is let's say 10Ly from system A and 10Ly from system C where you want to sell the data. The distance between system A and C most probably will be inferior to 20Ly and there is no way to calculate that distance right now when in system B. You have to either be in system A or C and target the other one in a system map to be able to see that information. Even if an information screen of what one has wouldn't solve this issue completely, it would at least avoid us having to land and check in cartografics if one can sell it or not.

2. I would really like to see some kind of "mark" or metion somehow on starts, planets, bodies etc. when they cannot be discovered. What I mean is that, if you get to a system and someone has already scanned the information and sold it wou will see his or her name as: first discovered by. But in the case where that is missing, you have to guess if you wourself are the first one to encounter this system or if it is a system that can't be "claimed". So either some mark or just saying discovered by Federation or something else would be nice. It would avoid any confusion and people being happy of having discovered something first when in the end it's just value less information.

I hope I made myself clear. And if someone else already talked about this I'm sorry, I've looked for similar threads but couldn't find anything.
