RCT 3 PC Two newbie questions

Hi All,

I have started playing RTC3 today after installing it + 2 expansion packs.

I did the tutorials and have started the career mode. Although most of the gameplay is nice and intuitive, two things have got me stumped:

1) rides with elevated entrance / exit. I have just built the "Black Cats" ride in my park, but the ride has an elevated entrace & exit. I can't figure out how to join my ground level path to them. The obvious answer would be steps, but I can't find them!

2) Water rides - If I build a flume ride, do I need to do anything differently to connect it and get it working?

In the path tool you can create slopes (steps) by clicking on the slope buttons in the path tool (this is the window that opens on the the bottom right of the screen when you select to build a path). You can also build slopes by holding the mouse button down and dragging up or down when building a path.

For flumes you need to make sure that the end is over a swimming pool, and that the entrance is connected to a path or steps within the pool.
