Two planets named Giles and Kirsten

Found this in the middle of nowhere, system is AUCOWNST TU-D B58-0, two planets named Giles and Kirsten that orbit each other. It was already discovered but not on EDSM, anyone know the significance of these names? Nothing on them but geological signals.

They are most likely kickstarter rewards. For certain pledges during the kickstarter players acquired naming rights over bodies, there are a few odd ones scattered throughout the galaxy.

Either as Varonica said, or they are a memorial.

FD were kind enough years ago to name a planet after my nephew who passed away, for me. I doubt you'll find it though as it's 42 Kylies away from the bubble, unless you stumble randomly upon it
