Two questions regarding ambience

This is in relation to custom ambience the player can make with ambience speakers.
  1. Where can I find the default ambient sound effects in the files?
  2. Do we know what animals are in the unspecified regional ambience sounds based on their calls? (i.e. Birds of the jungle, frogs coaking, etc)
I wanted to ask these questions because I wanted to make custom ambience for themed areas that are themed to specific regions and continents. I know that Frontier has used multiple sound libraries and I thought that I might check them out. I also wanted to know the length of the default ambience files to ensure that my custom ambience sounds can loop properly.

I haven't used the forum in three years, so this is my first time coming back... even if it is just to crosspost this here from the subreddit.

I’ll be honest I don’t know much about custom sounds for the speakers, so I don’t have an answer for you. I do want to bump this thread though! I am making a seabird area with some mods and I would love to know how to add some custom sea bird sounds to the files!

Hmm, why not putting the custom soundfiles into the UserMusic folder and play them on the ingame music speaker?
Afaik the ambience speakers don't have any special effect that distinguishes them from the music speakers, neither on the guests, nor on the animals. So you can just use the normal music speakers for ambience.

I knew about the UserMusic folder. My concern had more to do with the length and that's why I wanted to ask about finding the original audio files for the default ambience just so I could get the length and looping of my custom ambience right.

Sounds are one of the things the modders haven't been able to crack. I'm far from an authority on the matter but my impression is that you simply can't access them.

Damn, that's unfortunate.

So what should I do with my custom ambience? Just try and make a hopefully perfect loop?

I am hoping that frontier can update the ambient sounds before the game ends
We believed the sounds help reduce stress and silencing guests, Frontier directly confirmed that it doesn’t.
If ambient sounds are played in areas, guests could either be happier or approve of the Scenary more
