Two Topics, Game Minimized, The right Executable.

Firstly, hi all,
When I launch ED now I hear the sound but the game starts minimized to the task bar and will not expand. It was okay yesterday 8th Feb, and I changed the graphics to 4K as I have a new 4K Monitor. I uninstalled the game and reinstalled, but it is still minimized to the task bar.
I also noticed that when i launch Elite Horizons, I have not bought Odyssey, the products folder is called elite-dangerous-odyssey-64.
If anyone can help it would be appreciated.

Try CTRL+Alt+TAB

Then click on Elite

Tried but same, just minimizes to taskbar, might it be because I am using display port, not HDMI?

I don't know. Are you playing through Steam? If so right click on the game, there's an option there somewhere to add command lines - type in:

-fullscreen

I had this problem a while back with a different game and this worked for me

I would try removing "DisplaySettings.xml" from
c:\Users\YOURUSERNAME\AppData\Local\Frontier Developments\Elite Dangerous\Options\Graphics\
(making a backup first if you're worried)
When you reinstalled, old settings probably remained and might be problematic with new monitor. Removing the file should force the game to start in small windowed mode.
