Ships Type-10 tips

And fyi, my 10 has made quadruple and more in credits that I spent on it. The conda, and vet are my “fun” ships. The 10, cutter, and phantom are my work horses.
Nice. You’re making me think now… almost all the time I’ve played, I’ve optimised for performance, dps, range, cargo… maybe I should just optimise for fun :)
I do love the T10 just for sheer ridiculousness. I’m also considering going small-ship only for a while, again because fun.

The Type 10 hatred is moronic in the extreme.

No, it's not

i have a combat cutter, corvette, Anaconda, and Type 10. The type 10 is not better than any of these ships except in one regard… it’s a mobile platform of death.

... no, it's not.

Actually, Conda is a better turret platform than the Type-10. Sure it has one less medium, but it has a size 8 PD that can power stronger turrets for what will ultimately be more dps than the T-10

Single target coverage for Conda turrets is also slightly better than for T-10 (the 2 mediums on the sides can cover both top and the bottom)
On top arc, the T-10 will have 2 large and 2 mediums. Same as Conda
On bottom arc, T-10 will have 2 large and 1 medium. Conda will have 2 large and 2 medium.

The better PD will allow Conda to put up more dps and it also has better shields.

I like my T-10.

Initially, I was sceptical because it's a mountain on wheels, basically*, but as I got to know it better, I realised that it is not a ship that is meant to fly, it's meant to stand still.
Once I realised this, I changed my views: I use it in RESs, with multiple fighters, while me and/or a friend and an NPC fly in the SLF, with a cloud of limpets buzz around, collecting materials from the moths attracted to its fire.

It's for when I want to chill in a noisy environment.

It's that ship I want to be in when I don't want to fly the ship I am in, if that makes sense! 😅

Nevertheless, I might give it a go in an AX environment, at some point.

*except that if I fly it right after the T-9, it handles like a Dolphin!
