Hi,
I changed from the Type 6 to the Asp Explorer, with 5B shields, and A rated thrusters/FSD/power plant/power distributor, whilst the Type 6 had D rated thrusters.
I have been interdicted twice tonight in the Explorer, and both times the ship tumbles *immediately* it is interdicted, and drops out of SC.
In the Type 6, I could evade successfully most of the time, but even when I couldn't, I could at least fight the rest of the time before dropping out of SC!
Why is the Asp so much more prone to tumbling instantly? I would have thought the Asp would be more resistant to interdiction, not less, but I guess I'm trying to apply logic here.
Needless to say, it defeats the point of "upgrading" to a larger ship, when you consider the cost of insurance! It cost me 1.2M credits, vs. the 600k I would have lost in the Type 6 (ignoring the cost of having the Explorer to start with!)
I'm also getting very annoyed at being interdicted by ships that do not obey the same laws of physics that we do!
