Type 9 how to speed up

Hi all, imjust wondering what you guys are doing to speed up your type 9's. I have a class C thruster and a class A power distributor. Currently im doing a run and its taking ~ 4 mins. Would upgrading any other components decrease this time?

Class 7A thrusters if you have the 51mil to afford them will help.

First i believe class C thrusters are still bugged (have thrust stats as class E), so a D grade thruster will perform better.

Beyond that

1) A grade thruster will give ~10% more speed/manoverability than D class (station entry/exit time)
2) If you have a shield, use it for lithobraking (E.g. Enter station at speed, aim at near center of pad, approach at medium<->max speed, landing gear at last moment, impact, bounce to exact center of pad). Used right for most pads very little braking is required and you get an instant dock if your aim is good. 150m/s impacts are ok (5D shield), not tried with boost though

Edit: Also learn pad locations (and which way up you are entering the station) so you can head the right direction immediatly as you enter the station and can enter at speed without overshooting the pad
