Hey all,
I recently got my T-9 to a laden jump range above 20ly. I know it's a foolish arbitrary standard, but I want to keep it.
Most of this came from a god roll on my FSD, but I also downsized my PP, switched to 7D thrusters, engineered everything that could be lightweight, and dropped my 2 G5 Heavy Duty A0 shield boosters. Right now I've got 1 G5 Res Aug A0 SB and 2 vanilla SB's. I'm also just about maxed out on power, too.
So here's my conundrum: Is it worth taking a large hit to thermal efficiency (overcharging the PP more) to run 3 resistance augmented SB's? Should I roll heavy duty on E0 SB's, without going above ~3 tons each? Won't I get diminishing returns on the 3 resistance augmented boosters anyway?
Any advice would be appreciated. (Mods, feel free to move this to the Engineering subforum at your discretion.)
