Anyone else had a type 9 get stuck in the letter box ? I'd just lunched when a type9 trys to come in not straight and gets trapped great now I'm trapped in dock with time running down so I wait for abit hope it or get blowen up nope then I get trespass warnings and boom talk about run of bad luck lol lucky id got inc too cover but all the work tonight has been wiped

I've seen a a type 9 get stuck in the letterbox...and that was the day that I learned that a type 6 can squeeze through the small parts of it when rotated...was another one of those 'oh geeze oh geeze oh geeze' moments. so honestly I'd say depending on the ship you're flying you could possibly still scrape out past a stuck type 9.......depending on how it got stuck too possibly.
You can nudge past in anything up to and including a Python. Not sure about a T7 but a good chance to test the shields if you go slowly.... 
A clipper.....well how attached are you to those wings? cause I'm sure you could have gotten clearance had you chopped them off
all kidding aside, yeah it'd be a pain being in that situation with a larger ship. I think the type 6...and maybe the python are the biggest you can get and squeeze into those little side slots.

I just managed to tangle myself with a simple type 6 in my clipper lol. Was about to abort and exit game...

Met one T9 which was wedged in the cow catcher so that anything bigger than sidewinder wouldn't have had a chance to get past it. It quite literally became a blast door of sorts... until the station equally literally blasted it out of the way.
All the time, which is why ill never ever use the docking computer.

My Type7 never got stuck anywhere but i keep scratching the paint in the letterbox. It's just a long and tall ship and im not used to it. Ive crashed sideways in the letter box too and was able to get in with only 1 shield ring down, that was when i was using a C4 shield i now have a C5 and lowered my cargo by 16.
Its not too bad when the station nukes them, but I've seen them stuck there for 20 mins + till a player got fed up and nuked it from outside.
Kinda sad we have to exploit logging out and reappearing outside to get round it, but at least it works I suppose.
No-one could enter the station for a while however.
