Tyre-tracks from the SRV are not there.
Is is just the planet or has someone else the same noticed?

It's an ice-world. So I'll have to check another one. I can see my pilot's tracks on the ground, but nothing from the SRV.
You’re not the only one experiencing this:Ok, thank you. I'll try another one. There are enough to check for![]()
Actually I've checked for SRV tracks since the last 2 updates and...nada, I thought the last update a day or so back would make them reappear but there are still no SRV tire tracks on the planet surface...type of surface not withstanding.
It's no biggie really it just added a little flavor to the game.

I checked on the planet I was on today - no tyre tracks at all. Earlier in Odyssey’s life I was getting the issue linked in my post above, as in: tracks eventually stopped after a km or two.
I thought this was fixed a few Updates back but apparently not. Maybe this is a Gordian Knot solution to the problem? Can’t have short distance tyre tracks if you don’t have tyre tracks![]()
Footprints are working fine, but SRV-Tracks are gone. I've checked several planets/moons with different surfaces. All the same - no tracks visible.
After Update 11 has dropped I have the feeling that the surfaces on planets/moons look much more granier and washed out (especially in landing flight) than before the update.
I've changed the GC-drivers, but nothing changed.
Edit
I think it has something to do with this one:
- Checkerboard rendering is now automatically applied to low, medium, and high quality graphics settings. This option will reduce the cost of the planet terrain shader when in close proximity to a landable planet.
2nd edit
Yes, my settings were on user specific and I've switched to 'ultra'. Now this 'checkerboard rendering' is showing in the settings and is set to 'disabled'. It looks horrible imo.
