UGC Integration - A Must!

First off let me start off by saying that considering the game is in it's first aplha stage, it looks magnificent and the amount of detail and the optimization is spectacular. I truly believe that Frontier was responsible for the success of RCT3 and that PC is truly going to be the future next gen game that we all are hoping for. I like many others were hopeful that RCTW was going to be that game, however PC is just miles ahead of RCTW in nearly almost every way. I appreciate the attention to detail and commitment that Frontier is putting into this game for a full and complete release. The creativity potential of PC is exciting and some of the creations that have been made already by other users in this alpha stage showcases this potential. I also applaud Frontier for originality and realism when creating content unique to PC, well done. I know UGC has been brought up before and that Frontier has hinted at this before as something to consider for the future, however I truly believe that this should not be brushed off in importance. One of the true reasons for the success that RCT3 for some many years is UGC. It really allows the game and the community to be able to make and create and recreate any park we could imagine. The UGC integration right now in RCTW is fantastic especially with steam work shop by not having to exit in game, and the fact that it is a fully supported built in system is really the only thing that RCTW has going for it. This has already showed some amazing progress from the community and its potential. If Frontier can accomplish this with PC, I have no doubt in my mind that it would be the dagger that truly lets PC reign as the future for theme park simulation games. Frontier please keep this has a priority and not a later idea. I'm curious to know how everyone else feels, I personally feel it cant be over looked.

You have to remember that the UGC support in RCT3 was mostly due to fan made tools.
As you said, they have already stated that they want to support full UGC some time after release.
Personally I feel Frontier are taking the right approach, give everyone the tools and materials they need to create great things right there in the box.

I am aware that UGC for RCT3 was fan made, but kept the game going for years to come, however RCTW making the integration built in has huge potential because they are supporting it. I think it will have an amazing impact of creativity and longevity of the game. That being said, I agree with you that I absolutely love the direction that frontier is going in creating unique and creative content in game from the start, which I stated in my original post as well as the fact that they are building a complete game from the start which I why I started that PC in alplha is already way beyond RCTW in progress. My reasoning for bring up the topic is not to say that I think that Frontier isn't already doing things right or that they should take a different direction, no on the contrary, I think the game is on the right track and is looking great. I am raising continued awareness that I think UGC is going to be a huge win for RCTW and that Frontier would be wise to embrace this creativity from the community. I think this would really be the thing that makes PC put RCTW in the dust and become the theme park franchise for next gem games.

I am aware that RCT3 UGC was from fan made tools. however with RCTW supporting UGC in game I think there is huge potential which is already begging to show. My point is not to say that I think that Frontier isn't doing a good job or they should take a different direction, on the contrary, as I stated in my first post I think the unique and creative content that Frontier is using to create PC and their commitment to release a full game is why PC is miles ahead of RCTW in progress and its only in alpha and this is why I am so excited about the game. My point of posting this is to bring continued awareness that frontier should embrace the creativity from the community and it could be a huge win for PC over RCTW as the next gen theme park franchise.

I hope you will be heard !

Because "UGC" is complementary with the "Modular Building Tool" (what they call "UGC in the box"), and not something that can be replaced by the "Modular Building Tool"
I really hope they understand that.
I hope they do not see it as something "in addition", a sort of "bonus", but more like a real part of the game, integrated in the sharing/blueprint system !!!

They confirmed UGC after release, when they need to add it in the "Alpha - Phase 3" ...
If we're lucky, they'll notice it in time. [yesnod]

Anyway, I can't wait the custom content to finally start enjoying this game and its tools creating parks that I really wish [yesnod][up]

I agree, this is partly why I am bring up the topic again, the integration into the game is really the key. Not that it will be allowed but rather supported in a way that allows easy sharing and creating built into the game.
