Horizons Ugh, where did that come from?

So I was running a mission to a ground base with a load of $cargo, and was in system, making my run for the planet. Being born some time prior to yesterday I was keeping an eye on my scanners since interdiction was always going to be a possibility, even likely.

My scanner behind was clear, just one blip off to the starboard, a long way above and ahead of me.

It interdicted me from there. Even during the mini game it remained ahead and above... yet I couldn't shake it. And yes I did make sure it was the same ship I was tracking that did it. So I submitted. Just an adder, so no problems, just really worried that NPCs no longer seem to need to be in one's rear arc to interdict... (nor in fact do they seem to be needing to face one.)

Just a thought... it took seconds to dispatch with an asp... but why?

someone, somewhere moaned that NPCs weren't good enough so they have "buffed" the hell out of them. As they couldn't think of a way to do this fairly, they have given the NPCs all sorts of abilities that the players simply can't have. Crazy interdiction powers are one such buff. There are several more. Many of us are hoping that they are made more realistic soon. Not holding my breath though

+1 to this

The same scenario happened to me. Player Python against my Cobra. Was on my scanner at 3 o'clock and about 45° high. Pulled me out of SC easily before I had even had the chance zero the throttle. I always submit to interdicts regardless of who or what that is interdicting... I thought it was just a "big" and A rated FSDI module...
