I guess I should consider myself lucky in that I never seem to encounter this issue when grabbing the latest update. Considering my pathetic rural DSL connection with its whopping 14 meg down and 900 kb up , you would think I would always be in the unlucky camp, but oddly enough, I never am.

My fix was a total reboot then, i did a proper delete of cache from Internet Options (rather than the quick one i often do from inside Google). Then i booted up Elite dangerous starter and voila.
However my earlier bug report of not being able to switch back into my Python from my Anaconda back at the station still exists. Looks like i'm stuck in my Anaconda
until they fix.Cheers Konig out
