I am growing tired of trying to keep my merits up by hauling materials and fortification thingys. I would like the ability to push 1 button to buy all the forts my ship can hold so I can haul them to the place I want to fortify. Once I have docked and gone in to the Station Services, it takes 6 actions to load 1 quota of merit producing materials into my ship. If my ships hold is 500 units and I can only get 15 merit items at a time that means I need to perform the same actions 33.3 times. So a total of 198 actions to load my cargo hold full. If I wanted a clickfest I could just go play Diablo or some other hack and slash game. This is the one reason that is making me wonder why I continue to play this game. No I am not threatening to leave and try to take others with me... that would be dumb. I spent 6 months figuring out which space simulator game I was going to purchase, Star Citizen, No Man's Sky or Elite: Dangerous. I picked Elite because it was a working full game that didn't promise huge grandiose things that it couldn't deliver. I am here to stay... but... I really want a space simulator, not a SWG clickfest that I want to macro. (Which I have done with VoiceBot.)
Here are the steps:
Kind of ridiculous isn't it.
Give me 3 sections. Each section has 3 buttons.
Section 1 - Preparation Materials
The first 2 buttons can actually be toggle buttons, click #1 the #2 turns off, click #2 the #1 turns off and then the confirm does the toggle button that is chosen. You could even put a number spinner in if you want to allow some people who want it to choose a number of how many units the confirm button will buy.
After the purchase please don't take me to another page just to tell me that I have received or purchased something, I know that, I JUST PUSHED THE BUTTON!
While I think this is important, I don't think there should be a big rush to fix this immediately.
