In order to see a pinned blueprint, you have to open up a new box, and read what's there, with specific information regarding the benefits/drawbacks of each tier of your blueprint and materials required.
On the Engineer's page, there's a blank section underneath the Log part. This area could easily be filled with a short summary of "Powerplant: Overcharge 5" or "Power Distributors: Charge Enhanced 3". The quality is necessary, since G5 access doesn't necessarily mean that the pinned blueprint goes up to G5. (Pinning power distribs at Hera, for instance, you may have G5 access, but she'll only do G3 distribs).
A slight improvement, but definitely making it much easier to scan through a wall of engineers and see what you've got pinned for each.
