New player looking to join a squadron that controls or is looking to take their own space. I'm happy to learn from people and enjoy most aspects of the game. Just think the social aspect will open so much more of the game

Octavian Vanguard are a Imperial Squadron and faction who have now expanded their territory to 5 systems and 13 stations & outposts under our control.

Nearly all of our members are from the UK with a few from EU. We all play PC/mac mostly in open.

You're right to understand that joining a squadron opens up all kinds of new possibilities. Do you want to be on the lawful side or the outlaw side? We are a decent sized squadron doing a little bit of everything. We hunt outlaw players and train our people in pvp if they want, we have a core of experienced members with DEEP knowledge of almost every aspect of the game, we hunt Thargoids sometimes, we bounty hunt together and play the BGS (the system which determines which factions control which systems), byt fighting wars with NPCs, and also relying on more pacifistic members to strategically sell their data and do trading to support the factions we, er....support. :) English speaking, with a good mix of US/euro members and WIDE range of ages. The squadron is built first and foremost on friendly attitudes and having a laugh, but we can help you reach the very top of the game as well. We have all the major resources, a private forum, a discord and a teamspeak server. Please check out our general thread... :) For the greater good!! o7

We'd be happy to have you consider membership in AOD; we have many experienced players who would be eager to fly with you! We have our own faction and players experienced in BGS manipulation (we own 10 systems now), PVP, bounty hunting, trading, mining, Thargoid hunting (bi-weekly group event), Guardian tech and exploration. As a group, we're anti-player murder and anti-player piracy -- we play as "the good guys." We work together, help our own and often lend a hand to others around the bubble in need.
