Its a film all about the race between the Sinclair ZX spectrum creator Clive Sinclair and the BBC Micro creator Chris Curry to see who can beat the other in the home computer race.
Sinclair is played by Alexander Armstrong and Curry by Hobbit actor Martin Freeman.
I've always liked this film, its a drama with a big dollop of humour thrown in. I also like it because I used to own a Spectrum and used a BBC Micro at college. I also played Elite on both!
The film was shot in and around Cambridge where Frontier is based. Also wasn't Messers Braben and Bell Cambridge students around the time of the real events then (I could be talking out of my bum at this point!)
All fans of Elite i recommend this film because the game we love was played on these two machines heavily and this film shows the machines being created.
The film is on the Tube of the You.
Go look it up!
