General / Off-Topic Ultimate Bacon thread

Okay bacon lovers, I know there's many of you out there.

So whats the ultimate combination.

1. Smoked or not.

2. Streaky or back

3 Fried, grilled or oven baked.

4 White bread, bun or none.

5 H.P. or ketchup

For me its grilled back bacon , unsmoked on a soft white floured bun with H.P.

Please be polite and remember bacon is salty enough, we don't need any more.

Frozen cream cheese balls wrapped with thick smoked bacon wrapped with thin black pepper cured bacon, deep fried on a stick.

Quality bacon, smoked back, grilled till slightly crispy. HP sauce.
Thin white bread, lightly toasted, slightly buttered.
Cut sandwiches corner to corner.

Note: May occasionally be served with baked beans in the sandwich, 'sloppy bacon'.

HP sauce! Oh yum - have never thought of that! I've been missing out all these years. I could never bring myself to put tomato sauce on bacon, but HP - yeah - gotta try that! Right - I know what's on the menu for lunch today.

I have, under recommendation, tried it with tomato ketchup.
My findings were, it is acceptable if the alternative is NO bacon sandwich.:D

I stopped eating pork but the best sauce for it is Heinz Memphis BBQ sauce. Best BBQ sauce hands down.

I'll give you two better....take your choice!

Real thick back bacon properly grilled up and plonked into a real softie roll with a wee bit of real butter :D

It's a pity I have to fly nearly 4000 miles to get one :(

5. Just a smidge of guava/wasabi "aioli" made with Kewpie mayo!

Kewpie Mayonnaise is the undisputed king of mayonnaise. First made in Japan in 1925 and sold in glass jars this mayo is yellower, richer and more creamy than the standard American or European mayonnaise. Made with rice vinegar, instead of distilled vinegar makes it especially complimentary to Japanese cuisine.
