Ultimate Children's Zoo animal pack meta-wishlist

  1. Ankole-Watusi Cattle
  2. Husum Red Pied (Breeding populations exist in the Berlin Zoological Garden, the Hanover Zoo, the Tierpark Arche Warder, in the ZOOM Erlebniswelt Gelsenkirchen. The German federal state of Schleswig-Holstein supports preservation of the breed for its cultural value)

  4. Norwegian Fjord Horse
  5. African Pygmy Goat
  6. Humboldt's Squirrel Monkey
  7. Ocellated Turkey
  8. Panther Chameleon [Exhibit]

Kind of taking the pack in two directions here - spinoff or similar of domesticated or barnyard animals, and then wilder animals that are commonly found in sections of or zoos themed for children

Shetland Pony
Mandarin Duck
Cottontail Rabbit
Yak
Patagonian Mara
Squirrel Monkey
Coatimundi (despite being a carnivore it seems to be a very popular animal for children's sections of zoos)

child friendly animals in my opinion. Many of you have mentioned what’s also on my mind already
1. Shetland pony: small and easy.
2. Black nosed valise sheep: my favorite sheep and perhaps the cutest.
3. Muscovy duck: time for a duck and I think we have plenty of domesticated European animals.
4. Vietnamese pot belly: very requested pig
5. Flemish giant rabbit: still waiting for a lagomorph
6. Marine iguana: I guess kinda harmless lizard
7.whooping crane
