Unable to access store

Hi,

Is there a regional restriction on copies of Elite Frontier?

I am based in Taiwan, however can only access the store to purchase Elite through a proxy.
If I buy a UK copy of Elite will I be able to play it without a proxy running? Or am I out of luck for this game?

Please note I cannot access the support pages for the same reason, nothing exists for Taiwan so I just get a blank web page for both store and support.

No idea sorry, the store pages are accessible fine from here (UK). But I doubt FD are restricting, it's more likely your ISP....

Sadly I doubt it's my ISP. I've never found them to block a website.

It's more like the annoyance with EA, where I can only access the Chinese version of their pages (no matter how many times I set the language to English).
I can access the story page via a proxy, but I am concerned that if I buy the game, I will find myself unable to play without proxy. I do not want to play with a proxy as it dramatically restricts my bandwidth.

Hi there. Just wondering if you figured this one out? I'm in the same boat (living in Taiwan, problems loading the store). I don't want to make the purchase, and then have to play through a proxy. Any update would be much appreciated. Cheers.
