unable to catch up with the gnossis

maybe its the gravity or something, i can get closer than this but i have chased that damn gnossis for over an hour and cant catch it. and ideas. i've relogged, switched modes and am open to ideas

Wait until it's not between the stars, or approach from directly above the orbital plane.

If you find that you have matched velocity and can't get close enough to drop, then try dropping without a destination and then re-entering supercruise. if i ever get back on i'm doing the same as i did last week....... staying in the bar until something in range

ha haar. i made it. took about 2 hours and had to go away and re aproach from a dif angle but i made it

I don't know if they changed anything but I had no issues getting back tonight - probably just the various orbits progressing.

I would have carried-on jumponium-leaping but there seemed to be a "galaxy-reachable" layer a couple of jumps up - certainly loads of tags up there. I decided to cut it off after a while as I am not over-burdened with materials at the moment and my explo account needs to get to BP soon, lets see what next week brings.
