Engineers Unable to complete redirected delivery missions?

I see a number of people unable to complete delivery missions due to not having enough cargo space to hold rewards. My problem is slightly different.

I'm in an ASP and decided to do some deliveries whilst waiting for Frontier to sort out the Engineer rare's issue. Picked up a delivery from the mission board in Kongi which was redirected en-route. I arrived at the new destination with no option in the mission board to turn in the delivery. There was no cargo/materials reward, it was all cash, and I had plenty of free cargo space anyway.

So are these missions broken for others? Has anyone been able to complete a redirected delivery mission?

If you are redirected to another destination is it possible to continue to the original destination and turn the mission in, without receiving the bonus of course.

It's a shame these are broken as I find milk runs to be gentile and relaxing when I dont feel like being agro.

Had the same with redirected missions, as mentioned in another recent thread.

I suppose (whatever that's worth...) because the faction you need to deliver to does not exist in the redirected target system, the Missions board has no section for this faction and hence there is no action item to turn in the mission.

I encountered this bug in beta, though I believe it was fixed.

If there's no exclamation mark in the mini-picture for one of the factions (which indicates a complete-able mission...when it works it's the top picture in the list) then the bug may be back. Report it.

I did some more googling (it's part of the Elite Dangerous experience after all) and spotted numerous bug reports for this issue that we're closed noting it was 'fixed in beta x'. Seems that it wasn't fixed in the end.

I'll file a bug when I'm finished with work.

I encountered this bug in beta over and over again. Did my part and reported it, but it seems it has persisted.

I wish I could say I have that problem now, but I can't even get that far. Factions I am allied with offer zero missions or a very rare courier/charity mission. I'm not talking "requirements not met" - Simply zero missions. Example: I'd expect the Pilot's Federation or the Dark Wheel to have something for me to do.

Sorry for a bit of snark tone, but to be fair, it is indeed snark. I'm just frustrated, to use a more polite word.

I've experienced this twice today. Second time, I had 42 tons of cargo space free, so I'm guessing that is not the issue.
