unable to download v 2.3 from launcher

It says The Planet Coaster Alpha v 2.3 is now live to download and play but every time I attempt to "verify the download" nothing happens. I am really unsure that I have an updated version at all. Please help. Also, I have already reinstalled the launcher. Thanks.

Alpha 2.3 has been out for a while it's not new, it always tells you the latest version at the top however it doesn't check what version you have installed
