Horizons Unable to get an up to date mission list from server

Anyone else getting the "Unable to get an up to date mission list from server" error when trying to access the mission board?

I am on Satellite Internet connection (no choice where I live, and I own the house) and perhaps this is not common for everybody else?

It happens about 40% of the time that I try to access the mission board, no matter where I go, any base. Hardly ever have a problem with any other interface. It's really annoying at times, as I get it happening 3-4 times in a row sometimes. [mad] Each time this happens, I have to wait a full 30 seconds for the interface to time out (20 seconds is the normal time before it responds).


EDIT/update: I just had this happen to me 9 times in a row. I have come to the conclusion that it is an intermittent Internet connection issue, or a server-side problem, if it were a straight 40% chance of happening my 9x failure string would have a probability of 0.0002621 or 1 in 3,815 attempts. And I have had several attempts last night and this morning that took more than 4 tries to get it to work!

It's usually related to temporary (local) server issues. If you consistently get those issues, check the bug reporting forum on submitting a report with full network logging, maybe your connection causes issues due to extremely high latency or some other artefact of satellite connections.
 
I'm reporting that I still have this problem with 2.2, although I haven't had it happen anywhere near 20 times in a row such as happened to me a few weeks ago. However, now I have been changing servers when it happens to me 3-4 times in a row. Quite a PITA to change servers given that it takes >5 minutes for me to log back in after quit to desktop, and once I received the exact same server and had to repeat the process.

Well in my case anyway, this problem seems to have been fixed. I don't know if it was 2.2.01, or 2.2.02; but I haven't had this problem (except a few very rare single times) since update 2.2.02. Thank you FD for fixing this.
