i have not done any mining in the last 3 yrs. after the latest update to the mining mechanics. ( not even sure when implemented)
a recent discovery of mega credits for mining.
i researched the equipment and loaded a full hold of limpets. my goal was to replace the billion i had just spent and funds were dangerously low.
my only mistakes i think, was to think i could go core mining in a type 10 def. had a few very nervous moments. ship did take quite a battering. my first haul was 380t. piloting a tank in a interdiction now thats another story.
survived the run. during this first mining trip. the mechanics and controls took some getting. but when it happens, you feel good and wonder whats in store for you. treats and experience was expected, what i got was disappointment.
this happened every time i got a good hit.
optimum yeild that produces squat.
