Newcomer / Intro unable to login to my launcher

it seems my login info for the launcher is not the same as my frontier account login info and now i cannot get to the game i thought the launcher login password and the frontier account slash forum were the same would make sense no? i have had ed since 2015 the steam launcher was auto matic login .recently while in launcher mode i tried to access the forum and that seems to be different account info

Hi kingeider, I have the same problem afte a long period of absence. It looks like the launcher login is not the same as th frontier login.
Does anybody can provide some help?

Login to the frontier store (use pw reset if needed) and see what you have linked to what account under what name

Steam seems to be randomly screwing up account links. There isn't much Frontier can do about it. The last time I had this issue, I believe I did the following:

1> Close Steam completely (no icon on systray)
2> Login to your account at https://user.frontierstore.net/ (not the link you've been using)
3> Go to "User", and then "Account Information"
4> Use the Unlink button at the bottom to unlink your Steam account
5> Launch Steam, then launch ED
6> Click the login prompt on the launcher to re-link Steam.
