while I can launch the regular version of the game just fine, whenever I try to launch Horizon the game crashes while preparing the planet generation system, always at 19% completion. does anyone kows why or how to fix it?

Upgrade your vid card so it supports the graphics necessary? That's just a guess since you have supplied....well nothing. "Game Don't Work" isn't a useful diagnostic message, please post details of the system you are trying to play it on!

Hi, I have the same problem, but I can still play. Alas the only computer available to me at the moment is a MacBook Pro from 2013. I have 8 GB RAM and an Intel HD Graphics 4000. It gets stuck at 19%, and I get a popup saying the game has crashed. However, if I wait and give it time to load, it will always load past it, maybe getting stuck for a shorter time at 24%, but it will continue after a little bit and reach 100%. It takes 5-20 minutes to load up the game so I usually browse social media or get a drink of water while waiting, but other than that it's rarely been an extended issue! Good luck, hope that yours is still playable too!

You still haven't posted your system specs so we still have no real idea if it is just a problem with you not having a graphics card capable of handling Horizons or whether it's some other issue maybe driver related. For all we know you might have an RTX 3080. How about posting some system specs, as I said earlier "game doesn't work" is essentially useless!

I have a HP ProBook with an intel(R) Core(TM) i5-5300U CPU @ 2.30GHz and 16 Go RAM
A number of different graphics options in that range, none of which actually meet minimum requirements but some which may be able to play the game. It's almost certain the Iris X graphics won't support Horizons but the AMD Radeon option just might, but it's not a good option by any means, any of the provided cards are poor as far as gaming is concerned, so which to you have the Iris X, Intel UHD or AMD Radeon model?

Good, keep in mind though we are just about to get Odyssey update, and while you can play it, it will never play well, and graphical upgrades for Horizons planets that are coming as part of Odyssey may mean it will no longer work. There's no way to tell really, just wait and see.
