Unable to select worlds on galaxy map 100+ light years out.

Currently about to embark on the R2R but my game will not let me plot, select or even bookmark any of the worlds.

Only filters I have are the stars and fastest routes. Any ideas on why this is happening would be appreciated. Thanks

Edit: I have no idea what caused this, or if I fixed it or it randomly fixed itself.

Sounds like you have the grid switched off.. Sorry away from the game so it is hard to explain, someone should be along to elaborate

I can only view a shell of about 50 or so light years from my current marker... Hence plotting is usually a step by step process working along my intended route :(

Yes, because grid mode is turned off, have you been playing like that all this time? :)

Is your FSD supercharged from either a neutron star or white dwarf? Are you using an FSD boost?

Both of those mess up the route plotter. If using a neutron boost, sellect “jet cone boost” from the route options. If using an FSD boost, select the level of boost at the bottom of the route options.

Thats by design, Susanna. You can move the cursor with your mouse or other input device to move the 50 or lightyear bubble to where you want to travel. Zooming out increases the speed of that movement ...

Edit: I infact did select a bookmarked system 2500 Ly away from my position today ...
We need a glamap tutorial ...

This is a different post from the OPs, but might be related. How is grid mode turned on? Is it in the control options?

Through the galmap. Am away from the game, I'll do a search for you

Edit, should be the last tab on the galmap

During my trip to Colonia I noticed that every time I typed in the name of a neutron star and hit enter, the option to bookmark or route plot would be in red until I physically moved the cursor a little bit. I think the issue was that, although the map had moved to center on the target system, the in-game cursor was still on the system I was in.
